Radomes & Capital items

Airserve supports the aviation industry across specialised verticals in spare parts and capital items. Our portfolio is built to meet the demands of airlines, MROs, and manufacturers, combining certified products, regional stock availability, and dependable supply support. Each vertical is designed to ensure readiness, efficiency, and compliance across aircraft maintenance environments.

Radomes

Airserve is the reseller for Airbus A320 Radomes in the region.

Capital Items

The two primary users of ModTruss (manufactured in WI, USA) in the aerospace marketplace are MROs and manufacturers.

ModTruss structures are not single-design, single-purpose solutions. We work closely with clients to design and tailor each stand to their specific requirements.

Primarily Access Stands Include:

Tooling applications, aircraft shoring, nose docks, tail docks, wing stands, and door stands.

01

Faster Lead Times

ModTruss components are pre-engineered, resulting in reduced design time. The ModTruss product line consists of off-the-shelf, standardised components that can be shipped quickly.

02

Recovered Space

When comparing a scaffold stand to a ModTruss stand, several differences become apparent. Scaffold stands require support legs and cross-bracing throughout, limiting movement and storage beneath the structure. ModTruss offers long-spanning capabilities, resulting in fewer columns and braces, creating wide, open usable space beneath the stand. This “recovered space” is a valuable operational resource.

03

No Welding

ModTruss uses 100% bolted connections, eliminating the need for on-site welding and hot work permits.

04

Cable Management

The ModTruss truss design allows air, hydraulic, electrical, and other service lines to be integrated cleanly into the structure.

Reconfigurability & Reusability

The ModTruss system is a modular structural solution that is never obsolete. Many facilities have unused stands stored due to airframe changes. ModTruss components can be unbolted and reconfigured to suit new requirements. For example, if a door stand is no longer needed, its components can be reused to build a wing or nose dock. In one instance, an MRO dismantled its shoring system and repurposed the components into a new fuselage stand.

Resale Value

If the end user no longer requires the stand, ModTruss products retain high resale value across multiple industries. The stand can be dismantled into individual components and resold with ease.
